Capgemini Predicts Self-Organizing AI Teams to Collaborate by 2025

According to Capgemini’s CIO Pascal Brier, by 2025, there would be a creation of multiple AI autonomic self-executing agents that are suitable for a multi-agent system paradigm. This technology will help AI agents to communicate to other agents to complete complex tasks in different areas of specialisation including marketing and compliance.

Major companies’ interest continues to grow in adopting AI agents based on the firm’s new report as it is believed that the systems will help to automate processes and cut out routine duties. The United States is the most advanced in AI deployment, although larger firms are further ahead of smaller firms concerning generative AI.

1. Multi-Agent AI System

The global professional services firm Capgemini also forecast that by 2025, AI agents will operate cooperatively and distributed to solve tasks.

2. Integration Trends

According to the surveyed companies, 82% of the firms intend to implement AI agents in the following one to three years; the fundamental reason being automation and relieving human repetitive work.

3. U. S. vs. Europe

According to the report, the U. S. is at a better position in employing AI agents than Europe in developing as well as implementing such applications.

4. Generative AI Adoption

As for generative AI which was adopted by an average of 6% in 2023, the new statistics for 2024 are 24%; the level of implementation of generative AI is higher among large organisations than that of small ones.

5. Industry Variations

Aerospace and defence industries have the highest generative AI investment at 88% while retail industries’ investment is at a low 66%.
